Chris Mendez has been working with Sandstorm Productions since its inception in 2001. Born and raised in New York City, he has been friends with the Tudor family since childhood, and has been groomed and mentored by Doc in the art of making great movies.

​

A graduate of Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, and Penn State University with a baccalaureate in Finance 2009, he continues to be a student of the game and diligently works to make every project a masterpiece.

 

Chris has steadily worked his way up from Boom Operator (he is even nicknamed "Boom") to Producer, and currently serves as the crew's Unit Production Manager, making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
